Method
Although each plant has its own growth habit and so there are also specific needs, there are some general instructions for self-sowing and growing plants.
When you sow the seeds, you can do this, for example in special sowing soil. This ground is somewhat more airy in texture, so seeds can germinate and root better. In the first phase, from sow to seedling, you can choose to do this in a closed cultivation or seed tray. The temperature is usually higher and gives your seeds a good start. First your seedling will get two germ leaves, the two leaves that come after the first real leaves. When your seedling has this, then it is time to put it in a bigger pot.
You can exactly read on the packaging of the seeds how much light and water that specific species needs. Some seeds also have specific requirements for germinate. So always read the bag carefully, so that you know exactly how to proceed.
