Beetroot - Detroit 2
7.5 meters of seed ribbon pre-sown with beets, ready to use in the garden. Find a spot in the garden with enough space. Cut the ribbon into sections, such as five strips of 1.5 m. Prepare a nice, even seedbed free of coarse lumps. Lay the ribbons on the seed beds (spaced about 30 cm apart) from mid-April to mid-July. Gently press the ribbon into the soil and cover it with 1 cm of soil. Keep the soil moist. You can harvest the beets in the fall; beets sown later can be kept refrigerated for a long time.
