Dyer’s Weed
Dyer’s weed does well in open, dry, turned, calcareous soil. You can find them in the dunes and on dikes along rivers. You can also often see the plant in the median strip of motorways in summer and late summer. Dyer’s weed has a spike-shaped cluster with numerous small, light yellow to green flowers. The flower stems are very short, giving them the appearance of an ear. Sow directly at the intended location.
Essential flowers for the flora & fauna in our environment.
